Frankly speaking, neither the author nor the manufacturer of that other OS saw it coming, the rise of the ultra light and cheap netbooks. They were only busy trying to take advantage of Moore&#039;s law to actually *use* the resources given to them and building an OS which was heavier than it should to be.

So MS missed this completely, the ship is sinking, but they do not see it themselves yet. Maybe they are aware of this sinking ship, but they are not vocal about it because it would only cause the ship sink faster. Nevertheless, it&#039;s going under, it&#039;s not &#039;if&#039; but &#039;when&#039;.</description>
